1,4-Dichlorophthalazine was used as starting reagent in the synthesis of series of 4-aryl-1-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)phthalazines¹. It was used as coupling reagent in the synthesis of novel soluble polymer-bound ligand². It was often used as building block in medicinal chemistry synthesis^3,4.
