Tetradecyl sulfate sodium salt (Sodium tetradecyl sulphate) has been used:
• to investigate the effects of sclerosant foam preparation and composition on foam structure, the time course of liquid drainage and foam coarsenin¹
• in sclerotherapy of telangiectases and reticular veins²
• in situ studies of self-assembled monolayers of adsorbed cationic or anionic surfactant molecules on atomically flat H-terminated Si(111) surfaces in aqueous solutions³
